Lefka Ori  (The White Mountains)

Part II

From Omalos I continued my drive towards west through the pass between the Tourli and the Mavri Kimite summits to Sougia. From Sougia I went by ship to Agia Roumeli, Loutro and Sfakia, where I made a side trip into the mountains at Anopoli, Aradena and Agios Ioannis.

After a couple of days' break I went back to Chania via Imbros and the Askyfou Plateau. From Ammoudari (one of the villages in Askyfou) I drove to the smaller Tavri Plateau, which has also got a refuge for hikers, to round off my trip with a look at the impressing summit of Kastro.
